The accuracy of the resistive touch screen can reach at least one display pixel, which can be seen when using the stylus. It is easy to recognize handwriting and helps to operate in an interface that uses widget elements.

- Damage resistance.
The basic characteristics of resistive touch screen determine that its top is soft and needs to be pressed. This makes the screen very easy to scratch. The resistance screen requires protective film and relatively frequent calibration. On the bright side, resistive touch screen devices using plastic layers are usually less destructive and less likely to break.
